Evangeline promised herself to never trust Jacks, Prince of Heart. 

Because of the mirror curse on Apollo, 

Evangeline has to partner with Jacks to save him and herself. To break the curse she has to open Valory.

No one knows what Valory, an arch contains, since the stories of the North couldn’t be fully trusted, thanks to the story curse that had been placed on them. some says it has greatest gift and and other says it is enchanted prison. Evangeline doesn't know what to believe but she has no plans to allow Jacks to get his cold hands on either magical gifts or magical monsters.

But to break curse she has to risk it.

How far Evangeline go to get her happily ever after?

Review: 

If you have read the first book in the series and if you think that book so underwhelming and plot was total wrecked. Felt "what is going on and why?" Then you and I are sailing on the same boat. And incase it the first one was perfect for you then you don't need to read my review just read this book.

This second book came and gave me  all I want from plot to angsty romance. 

I was literally disappointed to read the first book if you have read caraval serious then you understand me. 

So I am here to convince you to give this book second chance because I am happy how it turn out for me.

I love Evangeline here when I could not bare her in the first one where she was obsessed over happily ever after. 

And as story progresses lots of truth unfold and a lot question come up in the mind. it gave answer to why Jacks wants to open Valory.

It was angsty with capital A where they were fighting against their physical attraction but could not help it.

 butterfly was fluttering in my stomach entire time. I was hooked all the time.

We wandered more part of Magnificent North with Jacks and Eve which was truly magical.

I know I did nothing but compare first book vs. second book but this book is worth of your first if you believe in me.
